Conflicted Heart

I got some of the idea from a Frida Kahlo painting, Las Dos Fridas and my overall conflict in relation to some personal matters.

Initially, they were supposed to be sitting but that didn't pan out well, so they aren't, along with the fact I had to go through a bit of crap scanning and editing, that of which involved cropping.

To give a better explanation of the symbolism, well, the left side is where the intravenous line is intact and hasn't been pulled out, while on the right, it has and the some of the artery was taken with it, along with the skin being torn open, explaining the stitches and the bandages on the right arm. Of course, the other one, due to the intravenous line is well, while the other one is really, really sick and is practically dying, so she laments and mourns, dressing as such, while the stitches over heart still sting and will continue doing so, as that incision has been reopened and closed more than once, thus each time she suffers.

To simplify, the intravenous line represent a bond and on the right hand side it was painfully severed, so she bleeds.
