The Tale of the Haughty One-Winged BirdThere was once a haughty bird
Who once had two wings
But, as one can see, she now has one
That came as quite comeuppance
Not too long after arose the sun
She decided to speak so highly of herself
In such her same arrogant voice
And laugh at the misfortunes and frustrations of others
Needless to say, it was world that would do the same
And return it back it to her
Someone took the clippers
And *CHOP!* went her wing
Now she had nothing to speak so highly about
Now the world had become arrogant towards her
Now the world laughs at her frustrations and misfortunes
"You one-winged bird, you spoke so haughtily
Now you cannot fly and now you have nothing
There is nothing for you to say is there?"
That one-winged bird now lives a life of suffering
A life where she is laughed at for her pain and frustrations
There is nothing for her to be so arrogant about
Really there isn't
Lo and behold, there concludes the tale of the haughty one winged bird.
A Mourner's DanceWould you kindly?
I am in need of a dancing partner
One that would be suiting to dance with mourner
In a mourner's dance
Such a lovely melancholia this is
Do dance with me!
Won't you please?
Dance with me this mourner's dance
To lovely melancholia
That seems to speak of ill-fated love
One that seems to speak of a careless death
This is one final dance for me
Won't you dance this last dance with me?
I thank you of giving me this final mourner's dance
