The one time I wished to be something
I had wished to be a bird
Just so I can fly away

Of course, it is often absurd to wish for something like that
But, when birds, want to escape, they take to the sky
If only, I could be amongst the songbirds

If I were a songbird, I would be free from this cage
If I were a songbird, my voice wouldn't be silenced
If I were a songbird, I could fly away
